What the wind does not take
They say: "words are the wind," and hopefully will lead! How much damage, how deep wounds, as indelible marks, how many lawsuits, many enmities, such deaths may have been averted after careful use of words.
Neither the wind takes them, or the time the flock, as there are bones embedded in the soul of who receives them, causing pain and misery. Avoid those who cause such a scourge on others is the reason for these words today.
The psalmist is ready to bring a revelation. That is why we say: RV60 Ps 34:11-12 Come, children, oídme; The fear of the Lord show you. (12) Who is the man who desires life, many days you want to see the good?
This question arouses curiosity. What hidden secrets that will soon well known to affect our lives?. The answer is not expected Sal 34:12-14 NVI ... If they want to love life and enjoy the happy days, (13) ... to restrain his tongue from speaking evil and your lips from uttering deceit; (14) ... which is separate from evil and do good, seek peace and follow.
Many books are written about how to live happy and enjoy life, well, here we add one more concept: I want to do well, watch your use of the words.
Says one of the books of the Bible: Stg TLA 3:5-8 And the same goes for our language. It is one of the smaller parts of our body, but is capable of doing great things. It's a small flame that can burn an entire forest! (6) The words we say with our tongue is like fire. Our language has much power to do evil. May spoil our lives and make us burn in hell. (7) We can master all kinds of wild animals, birds, snakes and animals of the sea (8) we could not control our tongue and avoid saying words that harm. The language looks like a wild animal, no one can master and which is full of deadly poison.
The damage it causes, and we caused our word is unimaginable. Life marked forever homes and families destroyed, and endless "forest fires" are the result of the misuse of our language. Surely many of us charged with the poisonous words of others and is very safe while others are carrying our own.
Proverb says: BL95 Pro 18:21 The tongue can give life and death, depending on the uses, and will bear fruit.
"More than one has caused his own death or the death of others by a false or offensive language." Commentary Matthew Henry, Prov.18: 21
Why do you say what you say? Justifications, excuses, are the natural answer to our conscience when she accuses us of this evil. But there is more that the provocation of the moment, actually say what we say and the way you say, because we are inside ourselves.
The Bible says: Luc DHH 6:45 The good man says good things because it's in your heart, and the bad man said bad things because they are evil in their heart. So what is abundant in his heart his mouth speaks.
"It is a natural consequence that when the evil living inside us, the words by our untimely leaving mouth, so when you hear a person who utters little honest words, do not think he is hiding less malice, that which expressed through the word, but understands that the source is the stream flow. Chrysostom in Matt. hom. 43 "Catena Aurea by Saint Thomas Aquinas, luc.6 :43-45
One says what it says, causes leading to, as a result of what is inside them.
What you should know is that words, even light to escape from our mouths, are not without fruit, and therefore we are also made. Pro 18:20 DHH Each one will eat up the fruit of weariness of his words.
Pro DHH 12:13-14 The evil becomes entangled in their own lies, but the man just goes well trouble. (14) each contains the fruit of what they say and get paid for what they do.
Also: BL95 Mat 12:35-36 The good man brings good things stored inside the well, and that is bad, its accumulated evil draws evil things. (36) I say, on the day of the trial, men have to realize that even what they could not justify.
The consequences are measured both for our present and our eternity.
Before concluding we extend a little longer to meet some of the Bible. I do not want to encourage hypocrisy and we talked as we are, and who discover that their words reveal a dark heart, it warrants only one piece of advice: repent of your evil and seek the forgiveness of God, who will give you a new heart.
But even with a good heart, because of our weakness, failures and is therefore the usefulness of these Biblical passages:
17:27-28 Pro BL95 Man does not speak with experience too, the smart takes his time before speaking. (28) Even a fool would go through if it knew silent sage, while closing the mouth is smart.
Pro 10:19 In the RVA many words sin is not lacking, but the restraining his lips is prudent.
Stg TLA 3:2 Everyone makes many mistakes. Who, then, is a mature person? Only those who can master their language and mastered himself.
What is the purpose of all this?
A book says: "A long time ago and said the Greek playwright Menandro:" The character of a person known for his words. "What is in the heart can not leave anything to the surface rather than through the mouth; and a person can not produce through their lips nothing but what he has in his heart. There is nothing that is more telling that the words. We do not need to speak with a person long to realize if you have a clean mind or dirty, we do not have to listen long to discover if you have a kind or cruel mind ;.... We constantly revealing who we are what we say. "Commentary to the NT W. Barclay, Mt.12 :34-37
The question is: what are you proving yourself to the world? A good mirror where you see yourself is the words that leave your lips themselves.
